Please do share how you got Wells to refi at a lower interest rate. That's all I want. Same (underwater) balance at the current interest rate.
Dear Didi,
I arrived in this country in 1996 and have been working in the local hospital ever since, hence contributed a lot of money in SSC and medicare. I was sworn in as an American citizen this year, January 2011, and now eligible to vote.
So, I've been following some of the discussions going on lately to get a feel about the political landscape - which has been rather disappointing lately, to be honest.
Your answer to DJ tonight on his idea to get away with all the politicians and vote all new ones in place really was straight to the point :
"Not going to happen as long as we allow lobbyists and corporate campaign funds to put our politicians into office. Vote out all the ones we have now, but you'll only end up getting back the same thing....our current government is NOT run by the people, it's run by corporations. We've become a corpocracy instead of a democracy. Our politicans are bought and paid for by oil companies, banks, Wall Street, etc. As long as we allow them to take campaign funds from these people, we'll NEVER have an honest politician in Washington!"
It is SO right to the point that I just needed to let you know !
It should not be on a little reply note on a chat page, but should be out there on the big 'advertising panels' even before they get covered with more political BS.
Thanks for that reply.
Sincerely,
Rudi.
I totally agree with you Didi-376564 on the Hensley case about not leaving her grandchildren anything.I understand wanting her dog to be taken care of and leaving a trust or fund set aside for his care, but it is most obsurd not to leave anything to your human children/grandchildren.They have every right to contest and they should win.It will be interesting to see how this case plays out!
